Artistic Director of the Europäische Filmphilharmonie
Two world premieres of truly heavyweights of film history were on Frank Strobel's agenda at the beginning of the year: On the one hand, Murnau's "Nosferatu - Eine Sinfonie des Grauens" (Nosferatu - A Symphony of Horror) was performed to a new composition by Hollywood composer Christopher Young with the Tonhalle Orchestra on 24 and 25 February at the Tonhalle in Zurich.
On 4 February, Strobel had already conducted the Orchestre National de France for the premiere of the music to the film "Berlin. Die Sinfonie der Großstadt". Here, the French composer David Hudry had created a new score.
